Sydney was super excited because she had just turned 10 and her mother had finally agreed to let Grandma take her along on one of her international tours.  
Her Grandma loved to collect dolls and toys and every year since Sydney could remember, her grandma had shown her all the fun things she had collected on each trip. There was always one special fun gift just for Sydney. This time, since she was coming along on the trip, Grandma had said that Sydney could pick out the gift herself! Sydney had already decided that this time it should be a doll, so she was dreaming of all kinds of ideas of what it might look like.
She couldn’t wait to travel from her home in Australia, which she had never traveled outside of before, and see many new countries she had only dreamt about when her grandmother had told her stories about her travels.  Most of all, she couldn’t wait to choose a special doll to travel home to Australia with her.
